Welcome to Glass Skin Studio. By accessing our website (www.glass-skinstudio.co.uk) and booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure clarity and protect both our clients and our business.
Appointments, Booking & Cancellation Policy
Booking Confirmation: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. This deposit will be deducted from the total treatment cost. If you are not suitable for the treatment this may be refunded or transferred to another treatment.
Treatments: Any treatments that require a patch test or consultation must be carried out at least 48 hours prior. If a treatment is booked without a patch test or consultation and you are not suitable, a charge will incur for the time of the appointment.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will be charged 50% of the total treatment cost.
No-shows or cancellations made on the same day will be charged 100% of the total treatment cost.
Persistent no-shows may results in future booking restrictions.
Missed appointments or outstanding balances must be paid in full before scheduling a new appointment. Additionally, advanced payment may be required for future bookings.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your appointment may be shortened to accommodate the treatment. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be rescheduled, and applicable charges will apply.
Payments & Refund Policy
The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the appointment.
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and on certain occasions bank transfer (this must be agreed by Glass Skin Studio and completed 24 hours prior to appointment).
Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another appointment if rescheduled within the allowed timeframe. Deposit transfers are allowed once.
No refunds are given once the treatment has been performed.
Client Responsibilities & Medical Consent
Health Disclosure: Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or recent cosmetic procedures prior to treatments. Failure to do so may result in adverse effects, for which Glass Skin Studio is not liable.
Consent Forms: Certain treatments require signed consent forms before proceeding. These forms confirm your understanding of the procedure, potential risks, and aftercare requirements.
Treatment Suitability: We reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for a client.
Results, Aftercare & Liability
Aftercare Instructions: Clients will receive detailed aftercare guidelines verbally and/or written. Following them is essential for the best results and to minimize risks.
Results Disclaimer: Individual results may vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare. No guarantees can be made for specific results.
Liability Disclaimer: Glass Skin Studio is not responsible for adverse reactions caused by failure to follow medical disclosures or aftercare instructions.
Photography & Marketing
Photography & Videography Consent: With the client’s permission, Glass Skin Studio may take photos and videos during or after treatments. These images/videos may be used for marketing, social media, portfolio, and promotional purposes across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and our website. Clients will be asked to provide verbal or written consent before any media is captured and shared. If a client does not wish to be photographed or recorded, they must inform us before their appointment begins.
All images and videos remain the property of Glass Skin Studio and may be used indefinitely unless the client requests removal in writing.
Testimonials: We may feature client testimonials on our website or social media with prior consent.
Bridal Bookings
Deposit & Booking Confirmation: A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a bridal booking.
The wedding date is not secured until the deposit has been paid.
The deposit will be deducted from the final balance, which is due before or on the day of the wedding.
Changes to Booking: Any changes to the number of people (removing from booking) in the bridal party less than 3 months before the wedding will be charged at full price. Changes (removing from booking) made more than 3 months prior to the wedding will incur a £10 charge per removed person.
Travel Fees & Accommodation: A separate travel charge applies for travel to the venue. This is not included in the makeup fee and will be discussed at the time of booking. For travel that requires an overnight stay, accommodation costs must be covered by the bride.
The same applies for any international bookings outside the UK, where all travel and accommodation expenses are payable by the bride.
Late Fees: A £10 late fee per 10 minutes will be charged if the bridal party is not ready at the agreed start time. The same applies if the bridal party exceeds the agreed end time of the booking. This policy ensures that other scheduled bookings are not affected or delayed.
